Just want to review ci Yenny and team. I was quite worried as my trial didn't turn out to my likings after I saw my photos several days after ( bridezilla mode on). I immediately chatted ci Yenny and said that I wanted to change the whole things and she was really patient with everything I queried about. On the wedding day, it turnt out better than I expected. It was indeed beyond my expectations. No wonder she names her business beyond makeup :p She and her team works professionally. Even my bridesmaids happy with their hair and makeup too. Also I was sweating the whole day thanks to Bali humid weather and guess what the makeup stays on all day long. My once-a-lifetime experience as a bride with Yenny Gunawa as my make-up artist was really satisfying. The wedding was in Bali, so I did make-up trial with her just one-day before the big day, for dinne rehearsal. During the trial,she was alredy so perfectionist, we tried everything until the faux eye lashes to the hair, Even though it was a litle different than the wedding (the trial was manual, the wedding was with airbrush), it was so flawless until most of my friends and family during the dinne rehearsal were in awe-me too !! my face looks slightly different, in a better one of course, and the trial make-up, and she dropped few tips & tricks, how to pose.how to smile and so on.
For the big day, she was on time ! and the make-up was also profesionally done. I choose to use airbrush because it was an outdor wedding and with airbrush, it will more durable- and yess, it was. The make-up is even more flawless than the manual one I tried for the trial. I had a one-time touch-up by yenny's assistant before the holy matrimony in the evening, and it was still okay nothing changes (you know sometimes different hands can came-up into someting different after touch-up).I like how she can keep her cnsistency and let her assistent also being consistent with the make-up style. First of, I wanted to thank Yenny for such a beautiful talent! You made me, my bridesmaids and moms so beautiful on my wedding day... Your work is total perfection!
Her kit is set for all skin color and types, and all of her product are high end-trusted brand like Makeup Forever, MAC, Bobbi Brown, etc.
We had makeup trial few days before the wedding day to try what fits me best, and her blending skill is everything. On trial day, She used some products to test on me, but at the end of the day, I didn't really like how it turned out. I texted her and told my opinion, she excepted it with open mind, and gave me some option she could do for the wedding day. For me, this is the most important thing working with a vendor. She's very open to what I wanted for my big day, and very friendly about it..
On the wedding day, everything turned out so nicely! My makeup was STUNNING! Great team, great work, fast work, and it was a pleasant experience in general. Dhea, her assistant, was also very helpful with my hair. All and all, my makeup stayed put all day, all night, throught the heat, humitidy, and... the pool lol
I recommend this sweet lady and her team for your wedding day or any special occasion cos she's worth it
